On Tuesday, January 17, 2012, Sheridan Grade School will begin offering breakfast to its students.  The breakfast program will work identically to the lunch program.  If you would like you child to eat breakfast at school, please send the appropriate payment to the school. Ideally, I would like parents to send payment at the beginning of each month for the entire month.  We have attached the menu for the remainder of this month.  At the beginning of each month you will receive a menu for that month.  If your child(ren) currently receive free or reduced lunch then they will also receive free or reduced breakfast.  The full price for breakfast will be $1.50 per day.

           Students will have an opportunity to eat breakfast as they arrive at school.  Buses and classes will run on their normal schedule.  I am confident that the students will have ample time to eat before classes begin.

Effective Friday, October 7, 2011, Community Unit School District #2 will no longer provide bus service to and/or from any grade school extra curricular activities such as sporting events, speech and scholastic bowl contests, etc..  The only time the students will be transported is if the event occurs during the school day (example track meets) and only to the event.  It will be the parent's responsibility to transport them home from the event.
